Frescoes from I don't remember where--some church in Florence.

When I was there I thought it was kinda hard to balance the need to see all the great art, churches and architecture with the need to just sit in a plaza cafe and drink wine. There's always one more church and painting to see... they all become a blur. Especially in Florence! Looks like you had a wonderful time.

We did have a wonderful time. And yes, it's hard to know you can't possibly see everything. We had very late, very long dinners each night so that was a nice relaxing way to end each day. The best food, in my opinion, was at the smallest places, sandwich and pizza cafes. Proscuitto (sp?) and mozzarella on fresh bread: to die for.
