I got tix. $175 each, baby. He's doing the Astral Weeks album in toto. I just bought it on the Live at the Hollywood Bowl album -- basically the same thing.
I've listened to the new Hollywood Bowl album several times now. It's good, very good. But the original album is just not reproducible (in my opinion). It's too much of its time, or something like that. It's like divine music because of how it makes me feel. The individual songs stand alone but the entire album is like slipping into a warm bath on a cold night.
