Maybe I'll do that tonight. In the meantime, don't you think it's kinda late for tomatoes? This is my first year trying out a real vegetable garden so maybe I'm wrong but it seems like tomatoes SHOULD be ripe before September. I have no patience.
I've been getting ripe ones for a couple of weeks, but this is a primo tomato climate (lots of really hot sunny, sunny days and cool nights). That tomato looks pretty far along. It may also be a later-ripening variety.
