I spotted her yesterday morning and escorted her out of the back yard. She left via one of her secret entrances, then trotted around to the front yard, where I got this shaky video of her. The back yard is so full of deer treats that I know she'll find her way back inside again. Here's how the yard looks now. At least the ferns and the astilbe will survive.

Ironically, rabbits have been banned from my backyard habitat. I lined the chain link fence with poultry netting, which works well except for around the gates. Now I have a perky little chipmunk that digs up flower seeds. I don't think there is any way to keep him out.
I love those big mounds of grasses - what is that? They look like they'd be "deer resistant"
Could I have those eyelashes--PLEASE??
Are you allowed to keep her in Montgomery County? I think you need to build a nice refuge for deer. A deer pen like they have at Penn State. She likes your place, feels safe there. Who doesn't love the Jones Family? I think she's been placed in your path for a reason and you must love and cherish her. Like finding a baby. You could turn your whole property over for them. Like a refuge!!1
