Tuesday morning, walking into Washington Square on our way to the ceremony.
Later in the day, at a reception and champagne toast in the Duke mansion at 78th and 5th, 100 years old this year, where the Institute of Fine Arts has its school.
Proud mom and sweet daughter (who I don't think checks this blog so won't know that her eyes were shut).

What a perfect excuse to visit NYC! Congrats to your daughter and to the whole family. She's extremely elegant--that dress and the hair!! You look very proud and beautiful. We just missed each other.
Agree completely with Margaret . . . B. looks amazing, as do you. And the DRESS, oh, the dress. Just love it! Not having met B. personally and only seeing the rare picture, I didn't realize just how much she resembles you.
I sure admire and envy B. for studying and working in a field she loves . . . and for living the New York City life--something I think a lot of young people dream about.
Congratulations all around!
:) yay!
Congratulations to you and your daughter. I went to two graduations in NYC. Brooklyn College and City college of New York. I love going there.
