The foxes around here (Arlington) are very often mangy, but otherwise healthy. The county will put out food with medicine to treat the mange, but otherwise they are left alone. Very cool sighting!
Awwww, this is so adorable. My first thought on "the skinny" was FEED HIM. Then realized what an idiot I was for even thinking that. (Just read a report on why wild animals attack people in their backyards - all that feeding).
I didn't realize the fox wandered in the day but recently a friend saw one in her backyard also. Same story, looking a little ragged, thin and small but seemed fine. I've only seen one once, when I was driving my kids to school, it was sitting in the middle of a busy road (odd right?!)
They are precious looking, I wish I would see some in our backyard. It is nice that you were able to get pictures.
So did he come back? It does kinda make you want to feed it. I have an adorable stray kitten that has been visiting. I'm afraid she'll grow big and attack the chickens, but I'm afraid to feed her...

Donde yo trabajo hay zorros y vienen por la noche para que les demos de comer y cogen la comida de la mano.
Saludos.
