I stood in the Atlantic Ocean and it was good.

I never got more than waist-deep, but I was lucky to do even that because yesterday not even surfers were allowed to go in the ocean at Bethany Beach.

Today, the daughter goes to the Pacific (see post below). Tomorrow, the mother goes to the Atlantic (Bethany Beach, DE--pre-2008).

If I said I was thrilled about my daugther's move to LA I'd be lying.

My parents rented a little 2-room attic apartment in the top of this house. We moved out when I was 4. House still stands, looking pretty much the same now as then. I still stand too, but looking nothing like I did then.

This fern died in late July, but then grew back just in the last week or so. Odd.

I really, really dislike these evergreens. Creepy. (Not my house. Look at that metal frame holding it up.)
